Outdoor cooking

Self registration peg people
After breakfast we do circle time and the children find their name/peg to say that they are here. We enjoy sharing books, sign & sign, sharing news, movement to music and yoga during this time.

Our Belonging Tree
The children have their name, a photo of them with their family, a photo of their front door/front of their house and a photo here.

Our Proud Cloud
When the children do something they or we are proud of them for, they put themselves on the cloud.

Our gratitude jar and daily affirmation
At lunch time, while sharing our meal together we talk about what we are grateful for each day and add it to our jar. We also discuss our daily affirmation which aides children's mental health and helps to reduce anxiety and build confidence.

Family Books
These are accessible at all times and the children enjoy looing at them, showing them to their friends or sharing them at circle time. They contain all of the special people in their lives.

The unique child
Everybodys welcome here and we celebrate what makes each child special and unique. We are led by the children's ever changing interests.

Meal times here are important
The children help to prepare snacks and meals, set the table and clear away every day as part of our practical life skills.

Sharing WOW moments
We love celebrating individual successes together.

Sensory table
Every day we have invitations to play in our flisat and/or tuff tray that the children can explore.
